New Blog Name Help

Hello Kitties! Today I have a blogpost about help with a new blog name. I have recently had this trouble and had a huge blog block! So here is some ways i found inspiration for my new blog name(soon to come) xx
Make a pinterest board on pretty things that you personally like. Colours or things in these pictures may give you an idea for a name e.g a photo of fairy bread may inspire you to have the eord 'sprinkle' in your new name.

Write down some pretty words in notebook to give you inspiration, the perfect name will come soon.
Add some words together to make a pretty and cute combination! When you do this more words come to mind and you are off!

Use a different language in your new name! make it mean something special to you or translate to a pretty word. This helped me a lot when choosing my new name.
Ask some friends if they have ideas you never know they may have the perfect name for you!
Sure enough they will come back with something amazing!! (this may have given away my new name so shhh ;) )

I really hope this has helped you form a better idea on a new blog name for yourself! I have many posts planned for Christmas time so stay tuned!! xx

Room Inspiration

Hello Kitties!
Today I have a blogpost for you about my room inspiration! I made this edit for fun and thought I should explain it and put it in a blogpost! Hope you enjoy!
XO- i love these prints because they are simple pieces of colour to add to a room without over crowding

PILLOWS- Aren't these pillow case designs just the cutest! "This love is tuti fruti"is my favourite and the confetti one is a good accent pillow

DESK- I love the small touch of colour in this desk, it adds a lot to a room. I also love the wood top.

CLOCK- I think anyone would love a clock with this design on it!

LAMP- I love these lights! I saw people at school who had made these and i love them!

FLAMINGO-I just love flamingos. They are such a beautiful colour!

CHAIR-The touch of yellow contrasts well with the desk

BED- I didn't want to put a very colourful bed on here so I made it a natural wood colour to go with everything

BEDSIDE TABLE- I love the shape of the pink legs on this table! the wood also goes with the bed and desk

SHELVES- The coloured inside of these shelves are a great little spruce of colour to add to a room

BOWL- Can't you just picture this beautiful bowl on the bedside table or in the shelf!

CACTI- Cacti/plants are a must have in any room

I hope you loved this post! I loved making the edit so tell me if you like it! Also I need help to know how to get the background white from the grey it is now xx

DIY washi tape animal pegs

Hello lovlie dovies! today I have another exciting & adoarble DIY! It's super duper cute and easy! Say hello to some washi tape animal pegs!

You will need: mini pegs // cardboard //washi tape // bluetack or double sided tape // a thin tip sharpie, scissors or craft knife, and a pencil.
With a pencil draw up some small-ish animals (i used cats) on cardboard.
With washi tape, tape over your animal design, don't worry about staying neatly in the lines (see below photo)
With a thin tip sharpie outline your animal design, the pencil should still be visible. Also add some eyes, nose and whatever other features your animal has! x
Use either blue tack or double sided tape to stick your animals on the pegs. Here I used blue tack
Done! Wasn't that easy? I hope you love these adorable animal pegs just as much as I do! If you make these please let me know I would love to see! xx
Bye lovely dovies!

DIY room decor (collab)

Hello sweetpeas!! Today we have some very exciting news...we are doing a collaboration! with me and My Fur Coats  for DIY on pompom garlands and lace bunting garlands that are super duper cute!
For the pompom garlands you will need      multi-coloured pompoms, scissors and a needle and thread. It's very simple!
cut a long piece of thread and fold it over. thread on your needle  and fold it over so both sides thread through. Simply thread your pompoms through so they are about 2cm apart.
Carry on threading pompoms until it's your desired length!
cut your tread just below the needle.
Tie a loop knot at each end of your garland to make a neat ending. The pompoms should easily stay in place.
These pompom garlands are so pretty and cute! they are also veyr very simple! xx

For this beautiful lace bunting garland you will need  lace, crumpled paper, hot glue gun/double sided tape, and scissors.
Fold a piece of crumpled paper twice to make a small square. cut out a small triangle on the corner and use this as your template.
This is how you use the template!

Open up the small triangles and add the lace in the middle. glue or place tape across the middle triangle under the lace.
Now glue or tape the two sides together.
Carry on with this until it's your desired length.
These look so pretty hanging anywhere! We really hope you like these DIY's and if you do make them we would love to see so tag us in your instagram photos! thanks lovlies! xx

Tips on Inspiration Walls

Hello! A lot of you have been commenting on my instagram about how you want to start an inspiration wall, but you're not quite sure what to put on it, so I decided to make a blogpost on tips on inspiration walls! enjoy! xx
Pretty patterned birthday cards(or any cards) are lovely things to have on inspiration walls. With huge mixes of colour they all pop out! xx
Some items that you purchase have really pretty tags on them. Most people cut them off and throw them away but why not make use of them and show them off!? xx
Some business cards and cards in shops are really pretty and sometimes inspirational! This makes for perfect inspiration walls! Ask for anyone's business cards and look in shops on their counter, you never know what you might find! xx
I really hope this this post has helped you with you inspiration walls or inspired you to start one! tell me about your inspiration walls and send me photos on instagram! @mylilycatblog xx
